Life Is Not Fair – But It Is Teachable
Page 8: Pain as a Teacher
Pain is something everyone tries to avoid.
We see it as punishment,
a sign that something went wrong.
But pain is not always the enemy.
Why pain exists
Pain signals:
- What needs attention
- What needs change
- What needs growth
Without pain, awareness disappears.
The common mistake
Most people ask:
“Why is this happening to me?”
A wiser question is:
“What is this teaching me?”
Lesson #8
Pain does not come to break you.
It comes to refine you.
How pain becomes useful
When pain is:
- Understood
- Reflected upon
- Responded to consciously
It becomes wisdom.
Reflection for today
Sit with this question:
“What lesson is my current discomfort trying to teach me?”
Listening changes everything.
