Life Is Not Fair – But It Is Teachable
Page 12: Growth Pain
Everyone wants growth.
Very few want the discomfort that comes with it.
That discomfort is called growth pain.
Why growth hurts
Growth asks you to:
- Leave familiar habits
- Face weaknesses honestly
- Operate without certainty
Comfort and growth do not live together.
The common misunderstanding
When pain appears, many think:
“Something is wrong.”
Often, the truth is:
“Something is changing.”
Lesson #12
Growth pain is not a signal to stop.
It is proof you are moving forward.
A wiser response to discomfort
Instead of escaping pain:
- Observe it
- Learn from it
- Adjust without quitting
Pain managed well becomes strength.
Reflection for today
Ask yourself:
“What discomfort am I avoiding that could actually help me grow?”
Growth begins where avoidance ends.
